 The beautiful Miramichi Valley and its rivers in New Brunswick, Canada offer some excellent Atlantic salmon fishing.

As the sun gradually wheels its broad disk into the west, the fisherman has approximately one hour of good fishing left.  A few amber clouds float in the sky, without a breath of air to move them.  The horizon is of a fine golden tint, changing gradually into a pure apple green and from that into a deep blue of the mid-heaven.  A slanting ray lingers on the woody crests of the precipices that overhang some parts of the river, giving greater depth to the dark gray and purple of their rocky sides.  Darkness is just a few minutes away on this beautiful valley and one of its rivers.  The fisherman packs and heads for home.
