Print media, television exposure, and fishing derbies have spread the news and brought hundreds of anglers to New Brunswick, as well as creating new enthusiasm about sport among New Brunswick residents. During the last few decades, New Brunswick's sport fishery has faced many challenges to its continuing health. Pollution, habitat, over fishing, and acid rain combined with government funding cutbacks have reduced stocking programs and the numbers of officers enforcing conservation laws. If you love fishing, do your part to conserve and preserve it for generations to come. Practising catch and release, supporting community fisheries involvement programs and educating our young anglers are crucial to this process. So, as the months pass by, think conservation and enjoy angling.

Since the early 1990’s they have collected and promoted information on New Brunswick Fly Tyers and now they wish to share this information with you. The Fly Tyers represented in this collection were selected to acknowledge the contribution they made to the art of fly tying in the Province of New Brunswick.
